I wanted to update you on where we are and what are plans are for the next few months.

Chapelfield Kiosk: CLOSED

I have taken the difficult decision today to temporarily close our kiosk in Chapelfield. The current situation is making it very difficult to keep both the kiosk and our shop open. We are combining our staff rotas so we can work hard on the shop being a delicious refuge whilst things are tough.

Royal Arcade Shop: OPEN

Unless we are forced to close, run out of staff or ingredients, we will remain open throughout. We may have to change our opening hours and restrict a little how people shop with us in terms of distancing, but otherwise we will carry on. We have taken out our tables and chairs - so no sitting in for now.

We will diversify our offering over the coming days so we can keep you filled up with treats as we work through this. We have a big commercial bakery behind the scenes so if you have things you would like to see us make, do let us know.

Booked Cakes and Orders

If you have a booking with us for a cake or larger order and need to move the date - let us know and we will do that for you. As long as the shop is open collections can be made there. If you would prefer to collect from our bakery - in a non contact way - we can arrange that. We have parking right outside our door. Please let us know.

Cookery School

We have thought long and hard about this but we don’t think it would be safe or sensible to continue those for now. Non-essential social contact seems fairly clear. We will contact all those booked in for March and April and offer new dates for the same courses later in the year or a different course. It is taking some time to work through that but you will get an e-mail soon.

Online Orders

Our online business continues as normal - next day delivery anywhere in mainland UK for £2.95. 1hr timed delivery slots. Bargainacious! If you or your family are self isolated and need a treat, we can help.

Home Delivery Local to Norwich

Next week we will start delivering to postcodes local to our kitchen. Orders placed by 1pm will be delivered the same day (non-contact if necessary). To start with that will be with a menu of what we make already but we will add a range of other heat at home delicious meals. I am brushing up on my savoury food skills and the MasterChef recipe notebooks have been dug out (but no Chocolate Fondants!)
