Tim Kinnaird Returns to the Masterchef Kitchen

Tim, Dhruv and Alex pose for a selfie before judging dishes

MasterChef is back for a fourteenth series, with Gregg Wallace and John Torode returning to find the UK’s next culinary champion. The new series began this week with the first batch of contestants cooking up a storm in the famous kitchen. The second episode will air on BBC1 on Thursday evening, when our very own Tim Kinnaird will return to judge the hopeful chefs as they battle it out for a place in Friday’s quarter final.

Back in the Kitchen

Tim will be guest judging alongside fellow finalists from series 6, Alex Rushmer and Dhruv Baker. The trio will be judging the second round of the episode, as four chefs cook two courses each to earn a place in the quarter final. This year, 56 amateur cooks will be competing over four weeks of challenges, producing inspiring and exceptional dishes in the battle for the MasterChef crown.

Tim was a contestant in 2010, and wowed the judges and audiences with his showstopping desserts and exquisite patisseries. Throughout the series, Tim cooked for the country’s most renowned critics, at Michelin-starred restaurants and even served a banquet for the Maharajah of Rajastan and his family at the royal palace!

We wish all of this year’s contestants the best of luck and will be eagerly watching to see who will be crowned this year’s MasterChef champion!
