Tim Returns to the MasterChef Kitchen

It’s been many years since Tim Kinnaird first stepped foot in the MasterChef kitchen, wowing the judges and critics with his incredible desserts to make it to the finals. Since reaching the final three of MasterChef 2010, Tim has returned with his fellow finalists Alex Rushmer and Dhruv Baker each series to help Gregg and John with judging the culinary capabilities of the aspiring chefs.

The fifteenth series of MasterChef began last month, and this year 56 contestants are competing for the coveted crown of MasterChef champion. Episode 11 sees the final heat of the first round, with seven cooks competing for a place in the last quarter-final before knockout week begins. Tim was back at the MasterChef kitchen to give his verdict on the contestant’s cookery, Tim said:

“It’s always a huge treat to go back and gossip with Dhruv and Alex. It’s 10 years this year since we filmed our series (9 since broadcast) so we are all feeling a bit nostalgic. So much has happened in that time. It’s great seeing the contestants at such an early stage and trying to spot those who might go on to do well. I love it!”

We wish all of the contestants the very best of luck and can’t wait to see who will be crowned this year’s champion!

Tim was a contestant on series 6 of the BBC cookery competition and has since gone to take his passion for patisserie to the next level. Macarons & More was founded in 2011 as an online company delivering treats all over the country, and now has two shops and a Cookery School based at the bakery.
