If you’ve tried to find us online before, you’ll probably notice something quite different about us. Welcome to our brand-new website! We’ve added a whole host of features that generally improve the look and the functionality of the site. Please, have a look about and tell us what you think!

Easy Navigation and Online Shopping

We want to show off the amazing products available from the Macarons and More brand and we figured the best way to do this was with a website that is easy to navigate and has an inbuilt facility for online shopping. The online shop features a menu that allows you to filter by product or price so you can quickly narrow down the selection to what you are after. Need more information? Hovering the cursor on the product you are interested in brings up a Quick Look option. 

Taking a ‘Quick Look’

When you click on Quick Look, a pop-up appears which gives you options for more information. From here, you can get a description of the product or a full list of ingredients. Altering the order quantity on the product you have selected changes the price with no need to refresh or update the page. When you are satisfied with the quantity – simply ‘add to bag’. The total price of your selected purchases will be visible in the top right of the page.

Pick Your Own Macarons

Macarons are our flagship product. We currently have 16 enticing flavours to choose from. We wanted a way for customers to select their own favourites in a box of 6 or 12. In an example of the visual feedback that is a hallmark of the new website’s design, the customer is presented with a menu of the different flavours available and a representation of the empty box. Clicking on a flavour fills up each square of the empty box with a picture of the desired macaron. Delicious!    

As with all selected products, the quantity can be adjusted in the shopping bag with no need to refresh or update.

Recipes and Classes

That’s the ‘Macarons’ taken care of, now what about the ‘More’? Our business is about so much more than selling sweet treats. We also want to encourage people to learn the skills to make them for themselves. There’s a whole section of the website devoted to recipes that are clearly laid out and labelled by difficulty. There’s also a page dedicated to our cookery school. All the upcoming events at our Norwich bakery are listed and you can book yourself on a class directly or get a gift voucher for a friend.

Make an Account

Finally, there’s a feature for regular visitors. If you make an account with Macarons and More, you can view your complete purchase history and add and save delivery addresses so you don’t have to keep on typing in your details.
