We’re delighted to have gained a runner up place in the Best Independent Retailer category of The Observer Food Monthly Awards 2017. Thanks to everyone who voted for us. We missed out on the top prize – winners got a full-page feature in the popular newspaper supplement – but are very pleased with our honourable mention. 

The Awards

The Observer Food Monthly Awards are supported by Marks & Spencer and, for the last 14 years, they’ve been showcasing the best of the nation’s food and drink. This year’s awards ceremony was held in the Freemason’s Hall in London and was hosted by Nigella Lawson and Jay Rayner.

Congratulations to the Winners

Congratulations to the category winners: Rafi’s Spicebox. This family-run business provides handmade curry spice mixes designed to make cooking curries at home easier and they truly deserve the recognition that this award will bring them.

Representing Norfolk

We were the only company in Norfolk to receive a runner up place. Nationwide, we were the only patisserie in a field of butchers, bakers, delicatessens and cheesemongers. We are really pleased to have garnered this level of national recognition for our business.
