This hands-on session will help you perfect macarons.
Macarons are the supermodels of the cake world. At their best, elegant and indefinable delights; at worst, temperamental divas. Once you have learned here how to keep them on the straight and narrow, you will consistently produce a cake that has helped revolutionise modern patisserie.
During this hands-on session, Tim will help you perfect macaron shells and a variety of fillings. He will cover macarons and fresh fruit-filled large macarons.
Our classes are run in small groups, with each participant having their own workstation, oven, and equipment. We want you to be able to easily replicate the dishes you make when you get home. We, therefore, give you all the recipes to take away and lots of advice on where to source more specialist ingredients and equipment.
Children & Young People
We very much welcome children and young people coming to our classes. However we are not Ofsted registered so an accompanying adult or carer must come with them. The adult does not need to buy a ticket and can wait in our reception room or be with them, whilst the class continues. However, they need to remain on site throughout.
Our tables and equipment are at an adult height so we would not recommend our classes to anyone under the age of 12 attend. However, we are happy for families to make their own minds up about if they feel their child is able to participate fully. We are very happy to talk through this beforehand.
