Team Macaron Trip to the Royal Norfolk Show
The Royal Norfolk Show is the country’s biggest two-day agricultural show. In addition to the equestrianism, prize-winning livestock and modern and traditional farming machinery on display, the show also celebrates Norfolk produce and catering skills. We were delighted to have a stand selling our macarons and other treats to the 85,000 attendees that flocked to the showground last week.
Eleanor and Ri are normally front of house in our shop in the Royal Arcade so they are used to handling the crowds.
As you can see from these images captured on the day, we set up a colourful centrepiece of our signature macarons. In addition to selling treats to hungry show-goers, we were able to offer information about our celebration cakes and popular cooking classes.
The warm weather meant that attendance numbers were up an estimated 10,000 on the previous year. It was a hugely successful couple of days and an experience that everyone involved would be more than happy to repeat.
Macarons & More founder, Tim Kinnaird, said:
"It had been a while since we last exhibited at the Norfolk Show. It was
so much fun meeting customers old and new. It was also great to catch up
with some of our exhibitor friends from our Farmers Market days."
Don’t worry if you were unable to make it to the Royal Norfolk Show this year. Our treats are still available from our shop or you can order online for delivery to your home.
