Terms & Conditions

1. Admission

Classes are open to participants aged 16 and over. Participants aged 12–15 may attend only when accompanied by a full-paying adult (one adult per minor). Children under 12 will not be admitted under any circumstances.

2. Bookings

All bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis and are confirmed only on receipt of full payment. Class descriptions are provided as a guide to content only; Macarons & More reserves the right to amend content at its discretion without notice.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

All bookings are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including illness, injury, adverse weather, or other personal circumstances beyond your control. We strongly recommend that all participants obtain appropriate personal insurance to cover the cost of their booking against such eventualities.

The following terms apply:

• You may transfer your place to another named person at any time before the class date, provided you notify us in writing. The transfer is not valid until confirmed by us in writing.
• Non-attendance without prior written notification forfeits the booking entirely, with no entitlement to any credit or refund.
• In the event that Macarons & More cancels a class, you will be offered a full refund. We will not be liable for any other costs or expenses you may incur. We recommend you seek appropriate insurance if you need to make travel or accommodation arrangements.

4. Adverse Weather

We are unable to offer refunds or credits where participants are unable to reach us due to adverse weather conditions. You should make your own assessment of whether travel is safe. Our standard no-refund policy applies in full.

We are required to run classes where at least one participant is able to attend. Please notify us as soon as possible if you cannot attend.

5. Food Safety & Hygiene

Classes take place within our working kitchen. All participants must comply with our food safety and hygiene requirements throughout. Participants with open cuts or sores must ensure these are fully covered with a brightly coloured waterproof dressing before entering the kitchen.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to any participant whose attendance would present a food safety risk, without entitlement to a refund.

6. Disability Access

All classes take place at our Hellesdon Hall Estate Bakery, which is on the ground floor and fully accessible for disabled participants. A dedicated workstation is available for those who use a wheelchair. Please inform us of any access requirements at the time of booking so we can make appropriate arrangements.

7. Liability

Macarons & More accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury sustained during a class, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Participants attend at their own risk and are responsible for following all safety and hygiene instructions given by the class tutor.
